Beat FM owner Chris Ubosi sues Jay Z, Rihanna for fraud, Roc Nation says they didn't know him

Rihanna is being sued by Nigerian, Chris Ubosi and his company Megalectrics for a concert that never took place in 2013, but now, Roc Nation is saying Riri and Jay Z were never in contact with Chris's company, meaning Ubosi may have been 419'ed.

Megalectrics are the owners of Beat 99.9 fm, Classic 97.3 fm, Naija 102.7 fm and The Beat 97.9.

According to TMZ, Ubosi allegedly struck a deal with two people claiming to be reps of Rihanna and Roc Nation that the artiste would get the sum of $425,000 to perform for 65 minutes.

Chris Ubosi claims to have made 3 payments to the tune of $160,000 after which the Rihanna/Roc Nation “reps” asked that the show be moved, he agreed to this only if Rihanna posted the new date on social media.

In the lawsuit, he says that never happened so Megalectrics pulled the plug, and demanded its money back. Since Ubosi didn’t get the cash, he’s suing Rihanna, Jay Z and Roc Nation for the dough.

But the twist in the tale is Rihanna and her management claim to know nothing about the deal.

A rep for Roc Nation told TMZ ... "Rihanna, Roc Nation nor anyone associated personally or professionally with either party was in contact with this person. Unfortunately this person was scammed. Rihanna nor Roc Nation collected any money for this event."

Interesting...
