Man stabbed to death at remembrance party for friend who was also stabbed to death 24 hours earlier

A man was stabbed to death at a party to celebrate the life of his friend who was the victim of a knife attack just 24 hours earlier.

The 38-year-old Junior Fuller, was found with stab wounds to his chest in Mill View Close, Sneinton, Notts, in the early hours of Sunday.He later died of his injuries.


His friend.Martin Maughan, 27, was found dead with a stab wound in West Walk, Sneinton, at just after 6am on Saturday
According to the BBC , the second victim was having a party to celebrate the life of his pal when his phone was stolen.
Residents said he gave chase to the thieves, but was knifed three times and died of his injuries in Sneinton, Nottingham.

 Writing on Facebook, Martin's mum Kathleen said:

    "Today I had a fone call that broke my heart in two, asking me did I hear the news that my son fell to his knees.
    "I begged god for mercy not to take my Martin away, but he didn't listen he's gone where all the Angels are in that kingdom in the sky.Please lord watch out for my boy put your arms around my Mart hold him as tight as you can," she continued.
    "I no hes looking down on us from that kingdom in the sky.
    "My rock my life my boy I'll never forget the laughs we shared i no your with me now more than ever before i love you son i miss your voice too."No I'm not going to answer to your calls asking me how are you Ma.Rest in God's love my son Your lil Ma xxxxxxxx (sic)"
