WAEC confirms that Senator Andy Uba forged his result - Sahara Reporters

SaharaReporters has obtained a document issued by WAEC declaring that Senator Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba, better known as Andy Uba, forged both a secondary school certificate and “Confirmation of Result” which he presented to British authorities.

Nigerian Billionaire and Chairman, Tony Elumelu, has reacted to a tweet that he graduated with a third class alongside other notable Nigerians.

This came after it was confirmed that Sen. Dino Melaye, graduated with a
third class from Ahmadu Bello University.

According to him, those passing this round don't know a thing about him.

Arm robbers rob worshippers, share loot in Ondo church

Armed robbers on Saturday invaded some churches in Akure, the Ondo State capital, and robbed members of the churches of their valuables.

The men were also reported to have carted away the churches’ offerings, estimated at millions of naira.

Buhari has no certificate scandal-Presidency

The Presidency on Sunday said President Muhammadu Buhari was not involved in any certificate scandal.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, stated this in a statement made available to journalists.

The statement read,

The Director of Press Affairs, Mr Emmanuel Nanle, who confirmed the incident said, “Yes, the commissioner slumped while jogging and was rushed to the Plateau Specialist Hospital, where he died.”

Nanle said that the official was gasping for breath by the time he arrived the hospital.

“Doctors tried to stabilise him but could not. We have lost him,” he said.

A young woman has been struck and killed by a train while allegedly posing for photos on the tracks.

Fredzania Thompson was hit at a spot where two train tracks meet in Texas, US.The 19-year-old, who was engaged, was posing for images at the site in a bid to launch a modelling career, her family say.

Andrew Yakubu, a former Group Managing Director of the state oil firm, NNPC, was on Thursday arraigned on a six-count charge of fraud at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Omega Fire Ministries has accused Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai of masterminding the recent allegations of infidelity against its General Overseer, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, the church, through its spokesman and Communications Manager, Phrank Shaibu, stated that facts and available intelligence incontrovertibly pointed to the Kaduna Governor as the mastermind of the allegations.
